Orchestra of the Americas

Founded in 2017 by its director Aliro Núñez Santibáñez, who composes and arranges music for this orchestra.

Its entire repertoire is based on traditional genres of the Americas; however, one of the orchestra's distinctive features is its harmonic and rhythmic approach to contemporary musical styles.

Its organology is primarily based on instruments native to the American continent, with a focus on those of pre-Columbian origin.
